Job summary

Dry Force is actively seeking motivated Water Mitigation Technicians to join our Houston team. No extensive industry experience is required as we provide training, coaching, and advancement opportunities.

You will assist customers after water, flood, or storm-related losses by setting up drying equipment and monitoring progress to restore properties to pre-loss conditions. As a technician, you will be the first point of contact for customers, maintain professionalism and strong customer service,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move 50+ pounds regularly.
• Ability to work in varying environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Restoration, construction, or labor experience is welcomed but not required.
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification is preferred but not required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Respond to water damage and emergency mitigation projects.
• Extract water and remove damaged, non-salvageable materials as directed.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and HEPA air scrubbers.
• Document drying progress using a company-provided mobile device.
• Perform moisture readings and follow restoration protocols.
• Communicate professionally with customers, teammates, and management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site.
• Drive company vehicles safely while following company policies and traffic laws.
• Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as needed.
