Job summary

SERVPRO in Kenner, LA is seeking a Restoration Technician to respond to water and fire damage emergencies and to perform mold remediation for residential and commercial properties.

You will perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, equipment setup, and cleaning; document progress with photos and notes; communicate professionally with customers and team, while following safety procedures and company standards.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Willingness to participate in an on call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Respond to property damage emergencies and assist with mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial customers.
• Performing water extraction and structural drying services.
• Assisting with fire and smoke cleanup.
• Conducting demolition and removal of damaged materials.
• Setting up and monitoring restoration equipment.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Restoration Technician, you will respond to property damage emergencies and assist with mitigation and restoration services for residential and commercial customers.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and other confined areas when necessary
• Ability to work around cleaning products, moisture, dust, and restoration equipment
