Job summary

BMS CAT is seeking an Operations Restoration Lead Technician for Tampa, FL to oversee water mitigation projects and lead a work crew on site.

You will perform water extraction, demolition, and setup of drying equipment, containment, remediation monitoring, and cleanup while following company guidelines and safety procedures. The role requires physical effort, on-call rotation, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in water mitigation.
• IICRC certification preferred, but not required.
• Lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics).
• Participate in on-call rotation work schedule.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving history.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality water mitigation services.
• Water extraction.
• Perform demolition tasks.
• Clean up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged.
• Place and monitor drying equipment.
• Follow company guidelines for proper drying techniques.
• Set up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment.
• Perform job cleanup and breakdown.
• Effectively lead a work crew.
