Job summary

Diamondback Energy is seeking a Water Management Coordinator to support and operate water infrastructure for all Diamondback water needs. The role is field-based with daily driving to oilfield locations and requires participation in weekly office meetings.

You will oversee monitoring of water wells, storage, disposal, and pit levels; coordinate crews; track costs; assist in permitting and regulatory compliance; and promote water conservation and emergency readiness in TX/NM contexts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years SWD or Pipeline experience preferred.
• 1+ year of project leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of state and federal water environmental regulations and permitting processes preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; able to meet insurability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily monitoring and reporting of water wells, construction sites, volumes, storage, disposal, and pit levels.
• Coordinate crews and optimize operations to maintain production.
• Track costs using internal software and manage invoicing related to projects.
• Assist with water permitting and regulatory planning for TX/NM.
• Promote water conservation, spill prevention, and emergency response.
