Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in the United States is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Technical Lead for Linear Infrastructure to lead planning, design, and delivery of storm and sanitary sewer and water mains across the Mid‑Atlantic.

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Environmental, Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of project management experience in a consulting environment, with a focus on conveyance and water infrastructure design.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of design professionals and technicians.
• Mentor and supervise staff and develop high‑performing project teams.
• Perform business development/application tasks and collaborate with staff to increase project wins and develop long‑lasting client relationships.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop opportunities and proposals; perform quality reviews.
• Develop project management plans and establish goals for complex projects.
• Lead design tasks for conveyance and water infrastructure projects and prepare technical drawings and reports.
• Oversee design and construction management of projects; manage budget and schedule.
• Coordinate regulatory reviews and permitting activities.
