Job summary

AECOM's Water Business Line in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead complex water and wastewater upgrades. Based in a hybrid office, you will manage projects from planning through commissioning, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and maintain client relationships.

The ideal candidate holds a BA/BS in engineering, 6+ years PM experience in infrastructure, and a PE is preferred. Strong communication and leadership are essential for large-scale success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Environmental Engineering + 6 years of related experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of water and wastewater treatment, pumping stations, collection and distribution systems and client/consultant relations experience

Responsibilities

• Manage water and wastewater projects from planning through commissioning.
• Oversee project performance: finances, schedule, staffing, execution, and closeout.
• Provide guidance to subcontractors and ensure policies are followed.
• Engage with Water Environment Federation and other industry groups.
• Support business development and client delivery as required.
• Lead and mentor team members across diverse projects.
