Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager to lead water-related projects in Fort Myers, FL. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams through proposals, design, and construction, ensuring quality and client satisfaction while managing project budgets and schedules.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering, a Florida PE if possible, and at least 5 years of experience in water/wastewater or related municipal engineering. Field work and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering from an accredited institution.
Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
Licensed Professional Engineer with ability to become licensed in Florida within 6 months.
Minimum of 5 years of experience or the combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

Lead project teams on water-related projects from proposals to construction services.
Develop relationships that lead to long-term business partnerships.
Maintain and enhance Stantec’s reputation with clients, agencies and professionals.
Create a culture of collaboration by being an effective team leader and player.
Leads the preparation and coordination of process design, project detailed design, specs with construction documents, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Manages and leads other team members while working on projects; delegates tasks as appropriate.
