Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience focused on automations and controls.
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 15-20% of the time and work flexible hours.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Automation / Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) engineering design, planning, execution, budgeting and project closeout for water infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain standards/guidelines for automation and I&E in water networks.
• Manage projects and budgets for M&I & I&E work across facilities.
• Coordinate with drafting/3rd party firms on C&E, BOM, controller programming and panel drawings.
• Review and approve instrument indices for new facilities and upgrades.
• Lead meetings to review designs and models for water infrastructure projects.
• Align standards with Facility M&I & Electrical Engineering staff.
• Optimize on-location controls/automation with the water automation team.
