Water Infrastructure Engineer, AMER Energy and Water - East Region

Join our innovative team and play a critical role in developing state-of-the-art water infrastructure solutions that power the future of technology while championing environmental sustainability.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Planning and implementing water and wastewater infrastructure projects supporting data center water delivery.
2. Engineering, monitoring, and optimizing water treatment and operations projects for scalability across North America.
3. Collaborating with internal teams for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
4. Coordinating with local utilities to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
5. Managing reliability, maintenance, and resilience of water systems.
6. Developing resiliency plans for water supply sources with Data Center Operations.
7. Overseeing support, testing, and validation of water treatment systems during installation and maintenance.
8. Engaging with engineering, operations, real estate, and safety teams to address infrastructure challenges in rural areas.
9. Ensuring maintenance and compliance of on-site water treatment and disinfection systems.
10. Travel up to 25% as needed for project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Water Resources Planning.
• 8+ years of project management experience in water infrastructure, including reading and interpreting construction drawings and equipment specifications.
• Experience with mechanical/plumbing systems in data centers or similar facilities.
• Experience working with government agencies, utilities, and permitting entities.
• 5+ years of knowledge of water and wastewater regulations in Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
• Experience with water treatment equipment fleet management.
• Preferred: Advanced degrees in related fields, experience with fast-track projects, and skills in SQL or data analytics tools.
