Job summary

Garver's Water Design Center in College Station, TX, is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to support the design and drafting of water and wastewater facilities. You will assist engineers, develop grading and site plans, and perform basic calculations in an in-office setting with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with the design and drafting of site civil components for water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Support development of grading, drainage, erosion control, utility, and site layout plans for various projects.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity estimates.
• Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D to support project design tasks.
• Participate in project meetings, site visits, and field investigations as needed.
