Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Water Sector Intern for the Summer 2027 term in Philadelphia. You will work with experienced engineers, supporting a variety of water and wastewater projects and develop design drawings and calculations.

You will gain hands-on experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, plan and profiles, and learn permit processes while collaborating in a team environment on multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce quality results.
• Willingness to learn new software and apply it.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual, preliminary and detailed drawings including Plan and Profiles.
• Perform calculations and analysis for water and wastewater projects.
• Assist with feasibility studies, permits and approvals processes.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors for shop drawings.
• Support business development efforts including proposals and task matrices.
