Foothills Area YMCA seeks a Water Fitness Instructor to lead energizing, safe group water exercise classes, welcoming all participants and adapting to diverse health needs to help them achieve goals. Maintain class safety, attendance records, and respond to emergencies.

Required certifications: national water aerobics, CPR/AED, First Aid and Child Abuse prevention within set timelines; at least one year of group class experience preferred; commitment to ADA compliance and inclusion.

Qualificações

• National water aerobics certification required within 60 days of hire.
• First Aid and CPR/AED certifications required within 30 days of hire.

• One year of group exercise teaching experience preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY:This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.
