Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking self-motivated teammates to join our production team in Gastonia, NC. You will respond to service calls, perform restoration and cleaning tasks, and support the crew chief to meet customer needs. The role involves physical work, teamwork, and reliable transportation.

Typical duties include cleaning and maintaining job sites, vehicles, and equipment, plus adhering to safety protocols and company standards. Competitive pay and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in industry is a plus but not required.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to move and/or lift 50+ lbs.
• Pass background check and drug screen.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, and fit into tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service calls and perform assigned services.
• Communicate with crew chief to ensure customer needs are met.
• Support crew chief and other production personnel.

• Perform production processes following direction of the Production Manager.
• Ensure two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians regarding customer needs.

Position Overview

Respond to service calls as needed. Perform services as assigned. Communicate with the crew chief to make sure all customer needs are met. Support crew chief and other production personnel. Clean and maintain vehicles, equipment, warehouse, and office areas.

Requirements

• Experience in industry a plus but not necessary

• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces, attics)
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects
• Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals

Responsibilities

• Perform production processes following direction of the Production Manager
• Ensure clear two-way communication with crew chief and other technicians (especially regarding customer needs and concerns)
• Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown to leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
• Water, fire, mold, biohazard cleanup. Other services are offered based on project needs.
• Perform extraction, demo, job site monitoring, equipment placement, carpet and upholstery cleaning, mold remediation.
