Qualifications

Job description

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Effectively perform all restoration services the company offers (Note: Compensation levels will reflect the skill level of the Technician. Hourly rate increases as ability to perform water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, and fire damage certifications are added and evaluated.)
2. Communicate effectively with customers
3. Perform basic equipment maintenance
4. Perform basic vehicle maintenance
5. Inspect completed work
6. Complete Work Orders

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials and supplies for company vehicles
2. Maintain inventory of related supplies

Decision Rights and Authority

Determine the sequence of steps to be taken when delivering the company’s services at the customer’s property.

Working Relationships and Scope

Maintain timely and effective communication and flow of information with Lead Technicians, Supervisors or Managers.

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1. Education and Experience
   • High school (or GED) diploma.
2. Mathematical skills – Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
3. Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
4. Certificates, Licenses and Registrations – IICRC WTR, ASD, SRT, ARMT Desired.

Working Conditions

1. The work of this position is predominantly carried out on the customer’s property. Employee will encounter facilities where standing water and sewage are present, heat or air conditioning is unavailable due to lack of utilities, fire damage has occurred and mold or other organic growth exists. Daily exposure to the shop where vehicles and equipment are housed and maintained is typical.
2. Noisy level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Compensation

$15 - $20/hr, based on Experience and IICRC Certification.
