Servpro of Morton Grove/East Niles - Water/Fire Mitigation Crew Chief

Servpro of Morton Grove/East Niles is seeking a Water/Fire Mitigation Crew Chief for residential and commercial fire and water mitigation and restoration projects. Responsibilities include specialty mitigation services, light demolition, water extraction, mold abatement, vandalism clean-up, fire and smoke damage mitigation, content move-outs and pack-ins, and content cleaning. The Crew Chief directs, aids, and supervises the Restoration Technicians assigned to the project.

Compensation: $20.00-$23.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Water/Fire Mitigation Crew Chief in a restoration company
• Valid Driver’s License
• Reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Willingness to work on-call schedule
• Background check and drug screen willingness
• IICRC Water Restoration Tech Certification (WRT)

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely and quality completion of restoration projects
• Supervise Mitigation Techs assigned to the project
• Evaluate and ensure the competence of team members
• Promote ongoing training and skill development
• Maintain the security and cleanliness of equipment and supplies
• Ensure productivity and proper documentation of projects
• Maintain excellent customer communication and relations
• Perform additional duties as required, including tasks outside normal scope
