Garver is seeking a Water Facilities Team Leader in Huntsville, Alabama. This senior leadership role provides autonomy to grow revenues and production for Garver's Alabama Water Services Team, focusing on a select set of clients.

You will lead design and delivery of water and wastewater projects, mentor a motivated team, and develop new business while maintaining client relationships across Alabama. Responsibilities include guiding design, bidding, and construction administration phases,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Alabama or ability to reciprocity within 6 months of hire.
• 5+ years of experience in the water/wastewater utilities market.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and management of water/wastewater projects across Alabama.
• Prepare scope-of-work and level-of-effort estimates for contract proposals; lead the team to deliver on budget and schedule.
• Deliver planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases of water and wastewater facilities projects.
• Develop, capture, and maintain workload for the Alabama team by building and maintaining client relationships.
• Mentor and oversee a highly motivated team to strengthen Garver's Alabama Water Services capability.

Overview

Water Facilities Team Leader in Huntsville, Alabama. This senior leadership position provides autonomy to focus on the growth of revenues and production for a set of clients of their choosing within Garver's Alabama Water Services Team.

Responsibilities

Project responsibilities may include design and managing a variety of projects related to:

• Water conveyance and distribution, including pump stations and storage facilities
• Wastewater conveyance and collection, including lift stations and force mains
• Pipeline inspection and rehabilitation
• Water, Wastewater, Reuse master planning
• Water, Wastewater, Reuse treatment facilities

The successful Water Facilities Team Leader must be proficient in the following skills:

• Team Leadership: develop, mentor, and oversee a highly motivated team.
• Project Management: prepare scope-of-work and level-of-effort estimates for contract proposals; lead and manage the team for successful execution of contracted scope, budget, and schedule.
• Water/Wastewater: deliver planning, design, bidding, and construction administration phases of water and wastewater facilities projects.
• Business Development: develop, capture, and maintain workload for the team throughout Alabama by establishing and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
• Client Service Management: develop and maintain a healthy network of clients throughout Alabama.

This role will leverage Garver's established Alabama Water Services Team and local and regional experts to support business development initiatives. Mentorship from seasoned leadership will enable the Facilities Team Leader to contribute to Garver's legacy of providing engineering services to water and wastewater clients in Alabama.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Alabama or ability to gain reciprocity within 6 months of hire
• 5 or more years of experience in the water/wastewater utilities market

• Strong work ethic and strong communication skills
• Master\'s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• Experience with state and/or national conference technical presentations on water/wastewater treatment topics
