Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Engineering Intern to support our Milwaukee or Madison offices in Wisconsin. You will work with professional engineers and designers on water projects, gaining exposure to project coordination, software, data collection, and more.

This is a pathway to growing your career within Jacobs. Ideal candidates are pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering, are rising seniors, and have familiarity with water treatment concepts and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Must be at least a rising Senior.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Familiarity and interest with water/wastewater treatment processes and design or water resources.
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred).
  • Previous internship related to your field of study is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs.
  • Self-driven with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Support project teams on critical water/wastewater projects.
  • Assist with data collection, project coordination, and use of relevant engineering software.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and collaborate with engineers and designers on a range of water projects.
