Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an Engineering Intern for our Milwaukee or Madison offices in Wisconsin. You will support senior engineers on water projects, assist with data collection, design coordination, and learn essential CAD/engineering software while contributing to real-world solutions.

Candidates are pursuing a BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, rising seniors, with basic Microsoft Office knowledge and an interest in water treatment design.

Here’s what you’ll need

• In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited program
• Must be at least a rising Senior
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Familiarity and interest with water/wastewater treatment processes and design or water resources

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• A previous internship related to your field of study
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs
• Self-driven, with excellent time management and organizational skills
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

The base salary range for this position is $40,000.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
