Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Water Engineering Designer Intern for its Bellevue, WA office for Summer 2027. You will assist engineers on vertical and linear infrastructure projects, including pump stations, reservoirs, treatment facilities, and distribution systems.

This hands-on role offers exposure to feasibility studies, design development, and site visits to support project delivery. Ideal candidates are pursuing a Civil Engineering degree, with experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and

Qualifications

• Requires current 3rd year standing in an accredited Civil Engineering program or related discipline.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and engineering software.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or MicroStation preferred.
• Experience with ArcGIS is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with feasibility studies, functional plans, and preliminary detailed design for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Perform calculations and analysis.
• Assist in obtaining permits and approvals for construction.
• Collaborate with engineers, drafters, and support staff.
