Job summary

HDR is seeking a Water EIT/Coordinator in Sioux Falls, SD to help design water-focused systems under supervision. You will create planning, preliminary, and detailed designs, prepare deliverables, and work closely with clients to deliver an outstanding experience.

Ideal candidates hold a Civil Engineering degree and either possess an EIT certificate or are on track to obtain it, with BIM and modeling experience and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Interest or experience analyzing and designing water focused systems.
• Experience with production, simulation, and automation such as BIM systems, numerical modeling platforms, and other production tools.
• Microsoft Office experience.
• Must be able to work in a team environment.
• Active participant in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Create planning level, preliminary, and detailed designs of water focused systems under instruction from a Project Engineer or person in responsible charge.
• Prepare deliverables for water or water resources focused systems, write specifications, analysis, modeling, and study-level reports, determine appropriate design methods, possible equipment sizing and selection, and work directly with our clients to deliver an outstanding experience.
• Perform as part of a quality assurance team and conduct quality control reviews of completed deliverables.
• Perform other duties as needed.
