Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent and two years of water services/maintenance experience.
• Ability to learn and follow established procedures and safety practices.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding outdoor work.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction, maintenance, and repair of city water systems and meters.
• Maintain valves, locate and raise concealed valves, exercise valves annually.
• Repair sidewalks and patch streets after water work.
• Operate equipment and tools for water distribution tasks and ensure safety.
