Qualifications

• Three years of increasingly responsible experience in schematics maintenance work involving the operation of construction equipment.
• Possession of a valid California Class A driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy construction equipment such as backhoes, rollers, motor graders, boom trucks, dump trucks, and loaders for street and water system maintenance.
• Grade and crown streets and alleys; excavate water lines and backfill after completion.
• Perform preventive maintenance on heavy and light equipment and lead a small crew if assigned.
• Respond to emergency calls and ensure safety procedures on job sites.
