Job summary

Responsibilities include organizing, scheduling, supervising crews, inspecting work, ensuring safety and standards, and coordinating materials and reporting. Candidates need five years in water distribution or treatment and Louisiana Class IV certification, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Five years of progressively responsible experience in water distribution or treatment.
• Must possess Louisiana Class IV Water Distribution or Class IV Water Production & Treatment certifications.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and obtain a Louisiana Class D license within 60 days of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Organizes, schedules, supervises, assigns, reviews and inspects operations on an assigned shift.
• Monitors work, ensures compliance with standards, and oversees maintenance of water system lines and facilities.
• Reviews reports, prepares material requests, and coordinates repairs and safety inspections.
• Examination may include written tests and performance assessments.
