Job summary

1-800 WATER DAMAGE is a trusted property restoration company serving customers nationwide. The Water Damage Technician assists team members by performing skilled and unskilled labor while learning mitigation techniques and receiving on-the-job training for professional disaster response services.

Responsibilities include showing up on time in proper uniform, being available for on-call emergencies, documenting readings, and following written or oral instructions with good judgment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, talk or hear.
• Able to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform unskilled and skilled labor as assigned.
• Show up on time for shifts in proper uniform and well-groomed.
• Be available for on-call and emergencies.
• Learn and practice commitment to customer service.
• Fill out paperwork properly (Timesheets, PO Forms, Field Check-list).
• Monitor loss and document readings.
• Carry out written or oral instructions with sound judgment and problem-solving.
