Job summary

Voda is seeking a Water Damage Technician to support restoration services and ensure customer satisfaction on-site in the Tampa area. You will help mitigate and restore water damage, coordinate with customers, and maintain equipment and documentation to uphold service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic math and computer skills, and relevant certifications in water mitigation or mold. Training will cover safety, workflow, and equipment use.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: high school diploma or GED required.
• Mathematical skills: apply techniques to select equipment type and count.
• Computer skills: basic use of email, reports, and daily activity logs.
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: certifications in water mitigation, mold, etc.

Responsibilities

• Mitigate and restore water damage as offered by the company.
• Communicate clearly with customers and document work.
• Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work and complete daily logs.
• Process work orders and restoration documentation.
• Maintain tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.

Assist in retaining customers by fulfilling the company’s obligations through the timely and effective delivery of restoration services.

Water Damage Technician Responsibilities

• Effectively perform all water damage mitigation and restoration services the
• company offers.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance.
• Inspect completed work.
• Complete the technician’s daily log.
• Complete Work Orders.
• Complete appropriate restoration documentation.
• Maintain appearance and stock of appropriate tools, materials, and supplies for company vehicles.
• Maintain inventory of related supplies.

Water Damage Technician Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
• Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills. Ability to apply learned techniques to determine appropriate equipment type and number of units.
• Computer Skills: Demonstrates basic proficiency in the use of computers, email, and portable devices used to report and record daily activity.
• Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Certification in performing appropriate services: Water Mitigation, Mold, etc.
