Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore 4736 - Thomasville is seeking a dedicated Water Restoration Technician to monitor, inspect and complete tasks for water restoration jobs, including drying, demolition and related activities. You will prepare notes, photos and documents per policy to support insurance reimbursements and explain steps to customers in person.

Qualifications

• Experience in restoration or construction not required but preferred.
• Valid drivers’ license and satisfactory driving record.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Good customer service skills.
• Experience with using mobile software to enter data.
• Reports to work on time in a clean, complete uniform.
• WTR/Water Damage Restoration Technician and ASD certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves work orders, checks route for travel and loads equipment for the job.
• Explain processes to customers and guide next steps with printed materials.
• Performs water damage repair including extraction, pack-out, demolition as directed.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, vehicles and products are properly handled; report malfunctions.
• Inspects jobs after completion, obtains customer signatures, and requests payments when necessary.
• Monitors and adjusts the drying plan based on meter readings for each job.
• Resolves customer issues and communicates daily activities with supervisor and staff.
• Prepares documentation and pictures to ensure insurance reimbursement.
