Job summary

First Point Construction is seeking a Water Tech to extract water in homes and businesses after water damage, operate truck-mounted units, and perform water testing. The role includes setting up containment, drying chambers, removing wet materials, and cleaning up.

Weekend on-call duties and overtime are possible based on workload. Requirements include a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license (prefer someone insurable).
• Must pass a drug screen and a background check.
• Must be punctual and dependable.
• Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Must be customer oriented and able to keep work areas clean.
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well with others.
• Must have weekend availability.

Responsibilities

• Extracting water in homes/businesses after water damage using truck mounted units.
• Perform water tests and related manual labor (setting up containment/drying chamber, removing wet carpet/pad, drywall, drying equipment/air movers, HEPA vacuum, cleaning, shampooing carpets, power washing).
• Work Monday–Friday with weekends on call; overtime based on workload.
• Represent the company professionally and complete tasks alone or with a crew to deliver timely results.

Hiring Immediately an IICRC Certified Water Tech.

Job Duties

Job Duties to include but not limited to: Extracting water in homes/businesses after water damage occurs using truck mounted units, Perform water tests. Manual labor such as setting up containment/drying chamber, removing wet carpet/pad, drywall, setting drying equipment/air movers, use HEPA vacuum, clean up, shampooing carpets, use power washer. Monday - Friday Plus weekends when on call & when we have a lot of extra jobs coming in - Over time based on work load.

We are a construction company that takes pride in our work and we are seeking an individual that takes pride in theirs as well. We do a lot of residential warranty work for some great companies. Weekly paycheck based on hourly rate.

We are seeking someone that can work alone or with a crew to complete tasks given in a timely and efficient manner while providing a great experience for our customers and is able to represent our company in a professional manner.
