Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup in Cape Girardeau, MO is hiring a Water Damage Restoration Technician to assist customers after water damage and other losses. This is a full-time, hands-on role involving restoration equipment, mitigation work, and protecting properties from further damage.

Previous restoration experience is not required. We welcome candidates from construction, cleaning, demolition, maintenance or other hands-on fields who are eager to learn.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Water Cleanup is hiring a Water Damage Restoration Technician to assist customers following water damage and other unexpected property losses throughout the Cape Girardeau area.

This is an active, hands-on position where you'll work with professional restoration equipment, perform mitigation services, and help protect homes and businesses from additional damage.

Previous restoration experience is not required. Experience in construction, cleaning, demolition, maintenance, or another hands-on field is helpful, but we're also interested in dependable candidates who are willing to learn.

What You'll Learn and Do

You'll respond to residential and commercial restoration projects and help complete the work necessary to properly address affected areas.

Your work may include:

• Perform water extraction and mitigation services
• Set up air movers, dehumidifiers, and other drying equipment
• Monitor drying progress and equipment operation
• Assist with demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Complete restorative drying and specialized cleaning
• Assist with fire, smoke, deodorization, content cleaning, and related restoration projects
• Prepare and maintain equipment throughout projects
• Clean equipment and return it to the shop following job completion
• Maintain organized tools, vehicles, and work areas
• Follow established project and safety procedures
• Communicate professionally with property owners and managers
• Complete assigned project documentation
• Participate in after-hours emergency response through an on-call rotation

You Don't Need Restoration Experience to Get Started
