Job summary

PuroClean is seeking a Project Technician to join our on-site restoration teams. You will perform services following production guidelines, assisting supervisors on residential and commercial sites, and keeping vehicles and tools in top condition.

You will deliver kind, professional service to customers during times of need. Ideal candidates are dependable, able to work independently or with a team, and willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Residential construction or handyman experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency water damage calls (leaks, floods, pipe bursts).
• Extract standing water and set up professional drying equipment.
• Perform controlled demolition of damaged material as needed.
• Monitor drying progress with moisture meters and thermal imaging.
• Maintain a clean, organized work van and equipment.
• Assist or lead reconstruction tasks such as patching, painting, and trim work.

Job Position Description:

With a ‘One Team’ mentality, you will perform services as assigned while following PuroClean® production guidelines. Working to ensure all customer needs are met in a kind and sympathetic way, our project technicians assist their teams and supervisors with all aspects of restoration work on residential and commercial jobsites, as well as maintain vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business. Our technicians take pride in going above and beyond customer expectations in their times of need by providing a world class level of service which sets up apart from our competitors in the industry.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency water damage calls (leaks, floods, pipe bursts).
• Extract standing water and set up professional drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers).
• Perform controlled demolition (removing damaged drywall, flooring, or trim).
• Monitor drying progress using moisture meters and thermal imaging.
• Maintain a clean and organized work van and equipment.
• Assist or lead reconstruction efforts (patch and paint, trim, baseboard, door installations, flooring installations) as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Drywall repair and finishing
• Interior and exterior painting
• Trim, baseboard, and door installation
• Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, tile is a plus)
• Light framing and carpentry
• Window and door repairs
• General home maintenance and punch-list repairs
• Demolition and job site preparation
• Material handling and job site cleanup
• Qualifications

• Availability: Must be willing to participate in a rotating "on-call" schedule for after-hours emergencies.
