Role Overview

As an Area Business Development Leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and qualifying leads to achieve annual sales goals
  • Achieving area sales targets
  • Managing business development and marketing budgets
  • Maintaining client relationships and financial systems for reporting
  • Understanding market trends and drivers
  • Developing strategic plans and growth initiatives
  • Leading pursuit teams and creating effective win strategies
  • Building business relationships and engaging with technical teams
  • Implementing marketing campaigns and supervising team members
  • Participating in professional associations and articulating HDR's capabilities
Qualifications

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Technical registration or related experience

Required:

  • Minimum 10 years industry experience
  • Proven self-starter with project completion skills
  • Knowledge of procurement processes in A/E/C industry
  • Strong networking, sales, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Willingness to travel and engage in person
