Job description

Responsibilities
  • Resolve project-related problems focusing on client needs.
  • Conduct field inspections, detailed design work, review design computations, and coordinate design and analysis criteria.
  • Assist Project Engineer with estimating project costs and managing budgets to complete assignments within financial constraints.
  • Perform independent tasks for studies and designs, develop problem solutions for approval, and analyze studies under guidance.
  • Support the development and execution of projects, taking on tasks necessary for project completion.
  • Learn procedures and techniques for efficient project execution; guide drafting personnel and help expand their capabilities.
  • Deliver quality work within scope, guidelines, manhours, and schedules; assist in information coordination and decision-making for the project.
  • Potentially serve as Project Manager for small, well-defined projects with limited alternatives.
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of related engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Master's degree considered with 2+ years of experience.
  • Active North Carolina EI certification is required.
