Henry County PSA invites applicants for a Water & Sewer Service Technician position at the Henry County Service Center in Bassett, VA. This role maintains essential water and sewer infrastructure, responds to emergencies, and works with a safety-conscious crew.

The schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with on-call duties including evenings and weekends. A CDL with Tanker Endorsement or the ability to obtain it within 18 months is required or training may be provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge or aptitude to learn water/sewer system maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Ability and willingness to work on-call, including evenings and weekends.
• CDL with Tanker Endorsement, or ability to obtain it within 18 months of hire (training may be available).

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and install new water and sewer lines, pumps, fire hydrants, and related equipment.
• Respond to emergencies and service calls as part of an on-call rotation, including some nights and weekends.

We’re Hiring: Water & Sewer Service Technician

Location: Henry County Service Center, Bassett, VA

Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Salary Minimum: $40,260 - $49,746 annually ($19.35 - $23.92/hour)
