Job summary

The Langham Boston is seeking a Facilities Engineer to oversee maintenance of building systems and guest comfort. You will perform rounds, conduct preventative HVAC work, and respond to calls to keep the hotel running smoothly. Strong English, basic computer skills, and experience with building systems are required.

PM shifts and two overnight shifts on Fridays and Saturdays are anticipated. Prior hotel maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, fans, pumps, tools, and general maintenance.
• Must maintain all required licenses in accordance with law.
• Hotel/modern building maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete and record scheduled rounds for building equipment and perform repairs as needed.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment and guest rooms.
• Respond to routine and emergency calls and determine actions.
• Monitor plant systems via Building Management System and adjust as required.
• Maintain safety procedures and proper PPE usage.
