Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to maintain a positive, collaborative attitude in high-stress environments.

• Ability to apply critical thinking skills to resolve issues with support from leadership.

Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a mid‑level Watch Analyst to maintain situational awareness of incidents and threats, and support information sharing across local, state, and national level customers. The analyst will be part of a small, on‑site team working to identify events of interest and prepare written products for a variety of stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience supporting intelligence and/or law enforcement watch operations, strong attention to detail, and the ability to perform independently and within a team in a fast‑paced environment under supervision.

Key Responsibilities of this role include:

• Providing continuous monitoring, knowledge management, communications, and reporting support to 24x7x365 watch operations;
• Monitoring a variety of data sources and highlighting items of interest;
• Drafting daily and event‑driven situational awareness reports;

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
