W3Global is seeking an experienced Project Estimator with a strong background in wastewater construction, underground utilities, civil construction, and water treatment plant projects. The role focuses on preparing accurate estimates, reviewing plans, and supporting bids and negotiations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Viewpoint and Bluebeam, and the ability to collaborate with project managers, field teams, suppliers, and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in wastewater construction estimating.
• Experience with underground utilities, civil construction, and water treatment projects.
• Proficiency in Viewpoint and Bluebeam.
• Strong understanding of estimating, cost analysis, and project management.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs and technical documents.

Responsabilités

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for wastewater, underground utilities, civil construction, and water treatment plant projects.
• Review drawings, specs and bid documents to determine scope and requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and compute labor, materials, equipment and subcontractor costs.
• Use estimating software to develop estimates and bids.
• Coordinate with project teams, suppliers and clients to validate estimates.
• Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather estimating data.
• Research pricing and market trends to ensure competitive bids.
• Identify risks and cost-saving opportunities during estimating.
• Prepare and present cost estimates, proposals, and bid submissions.
• Participate in contract negotiations and clarify scope and pricing.
• Monitor costs and update estimates as scope or conditions change.
• Maintain records of estimates, bids, and supporting docs.
