Brunswick Corporation, headquartered with Mercury Marine in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, seeks a Wastewater Treatment Operator to join our production team. You will operate and monitor wastewater systems, perform chemical testing, maintain records, and ensure safe handling of hazardous materials.

Training will be provided for plant-specific processes and equipment. The role emphasizes safe operation, data recording, and communication of issues to the appropriate contacts.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate and monitor industrial wastewater treatment systems in a manufacturing environment, including safe handling of treatment chemicals and hazardous materials; training on company-specific processes and equipment will be provided.
• Ability to perform chemical testing and analysis.
• General computer skills required for maintaining operational records, data entry, and monitoring system performance; training provided for company-specific software and reporting systems.
• Ability to read and interpret system conditions, operate semi-automated treatment equipment, coolant waste systems, sludge press equipment, and forklifts; training and certification provided where applicable.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify process issues, troubleshoot basic system problems, and perform routine maintenance.

Responsabilités

• Operate and monitor wastewater treatment systems.
• Perform chemical testing and analysis, monitor conditions, handle chemicals and hazardous waste safely.
• Identify and report processing issues and perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Operate wastewater treatment processes and semi-automated systems.
• Read system conditions and report daily activities.
• Use computer software and input data from system readings.
• Run chemical tests (Chrome, Settable Solids/Turbidity, ORP and pH).
• Operate forklift to handle chemical totes.
• Operate Ringwood coolant waste system and sludge press operations.
