Pioneer Metal Finishing in Chippewa Falls is hiring a Wastewater Treatment Technician to monitor and optimize treatment processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support safety initiatives. The role involves recording data, adjusting chemical treatment, and coordinating with production teams.

The position operates Monday through Friday on a 7:00am–3:30pm schedule, with an hourly wage range of $22.00 to $26.00 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating wastewater treatment equipment and monitoring systems.
• Ability to document process data accurately and timely.
• Commitment to environmental compliance and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor wastewater discharge processes to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Record pH levels, flow rates, pump settings, and other parameters.
• Maintain chemical treatment systems and replenish chemicals as needed.
• Adjust treatment processes to meet water quality standards.
• Operate and empty filter press equipment as scheduled.
• Assist with spill response and cleanup activities when required.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe, including chemical storage.
• Coordinate tank dump schedules with production teams.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of treatment equipment.
• Support continuous improvement for environmental performance and safety.
