Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide with whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor performance of equipment, gauges and charts; replace equipment as needed.
• Operate, maintain and repair wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Manage instrumentation and control equipment including recorders and flow meters.
• Calibrate, clean and ensure function of pH and ORP probes and controllers.
• Inspect and maintain hazardous waste storage and labeling.
