Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with technical education in engineering tech/water resources or mechanics, plus 10 years in wastewater treatment.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid NC or SC driver’s license and appropriate wastewater licenses.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, supervise, and review work of staff operating wastewater facilities.
• Oversee outside contractors and monitor budget adherence and inventory control.
• Develop and enforce policies, procedures, and standards; schedule equipment maintenance.
• Prepare reports and maintain records related to the utility system.
• Act as ORC or Backup-ORC when licensed and assigned.
