Town of Gilbert in Gilbert, AZ seeks a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations Supervisor to lead a busy facility and mentor a skilled team. You will ensure safe, compliant plant operation and manage daily staffing to keep the plant fully covered.
You will oversee regulatory compliance, capital projects, and act as a liaison with ADEQ and EPA, delivering clear budget updates and operational guidance from the plant floor to leadership.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Employment with the Town of Gilbert is at-will.

You know your way around activated sludge and disinfection processes as well as you know how to coach a team, and you move easily between diagnosing a mechanical issue on the floor and presenting a budget update to leadership. You take regulatory compliance seriously — EPA and ADEQ permit limits aren't paperwork to you, they're the standard you hold your team to every day. Whether you're facilitating a staff meeting, walking a facility tour, or fielding a call from an outside agency, you communicate clearly and lead with credibility.
