Job summary

SolveNow Inc. is seeking an Operator in Training for our wastewater treatment facility. You will learn to operate and maintain treatment systems, conduct basic lab tests, and document data.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to perform preventive maintenance and keep accurate records. On-site work with safety procedures applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of pumps and wastewater plant equipment; ability to perform basic chemical tests.
• Prior mechanical and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment plants, including treatment systems and related facilities.
• Conduct basic laboratory tests to ensure proper treatment; sample, record data and read meters.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment; daily visual inspections of lagoons and processes.
• Keep accurate records for reporting purposes and QA/QC requirements.
• Learn and use Computer Maintenance Management System and basic computer tools.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers and supervisors.
• Maintain discharge permit data, logs, and plant QA/QC documentation.
