Job summary

Brasstech in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator I to support the facility's wastewater treatment operations, including inspection, monitoring, and maintenance of pump stations. You will work independently with minimal supervision, perform maintenance and calibration of meters and analyzers, maintain records, and ensure safety compliance.

Requires High School Diploma, Industrial Wastewater Treatment certification, and 1 year experience in chemicals or plating; CAD license

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certification in Industrial Wastewater Treatment.
1 year experience working with industrial chemicals, or in metal plating environment
1 year experience in Wastewater treatment operations

Responsibilities

Operate general wastewater treatment facilities including batch treatment and calibration of pH meters.
Initiate corrective actions for equipment deficiencies as necessary.
Maintain records per prescribed guidelines and prepare reports.
Calibrate chemical analyzers and maintain plant equipment.
Return equipment to operation after shutdowns and outages.
Inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair wastewater treatment systems.
