Job summary

YKK Americas Group MACON is seeking a Waste Water Treatment Operator for 1st shift. You will operate and monitor the facility to ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and perform preventive maintenance on WWT/Plating equipment.

Responsibilities include starting up and shutting down the system, sampling and testing water, troubleshooting equipment, and preparing treatment reports. Hazardous waste certification within 90 days is required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (minimum).
• Hazardous Material/Hazardous Waste Certifications required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Start up and shutdown Waste Water Treatment system; adjust chemical feed as required.
• Analyze water samples for pH, cyanide, chrome, and metals.
• Troubleshoot pumps, solenoids, mixers and control instruments; calibrate PH/ORP/level instruments.
• Repair PVC piping; complete daily checks and treatment reports.
• Operate plating-related equipment; inspect finished goods and labeling where applicable.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
