Job summary

Sulzer is seeking an Application & Tendering Engineer to develop technical and commercial solutions for municipal and industrial wastewater treatment projects. You will interface with Sales, Engineering and external stakeholders to prepare competitive bids from early tender stages through handover.

The role covers tendering, process support, and interface with clients, consultants, and EPC contractors. Fluency in English and Italian is required along with a strong engineering background in water

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
4–7 years of experience in application engineering, tendering, or technical sales within the water and wastewater treatment sector.
Experience in tenders for EPC or public sector projects is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

Tendering & Proposal Development: analyze RFQs and prepare complete technical & commercial bids.
Application Engineering & Process Support: define process solutions and equipment for treatment stages.
Client, Consultant & Vendor Interface: liaise to clarify technical aspects during tendering.
Post-Bid Support & Project Handover: support clarifications and ensure structured handover to execution.
Organizational & Knowledge Sharing: mentor juniors and contribute to standardization of tools.
