Job summary

Crystal Clean LLC is seeking a Wastewater Technician to manage the treatment and disposal of industrial wastewater, collect data, and operate and maintain plant equipment.

The role requires safety-focused work, 3+ years in environmental services and wastewater, CWEA or HAZWOPER preferred, and ability to work day, night or weekend shifts. The facility offers competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in the environmental services industry preferred.
• 3 years’ experience in wastewater treatment preferred.
• Knowledge of industry practices and regulations relevant to wastewater treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health and safety is the priority by following safe work practices.
• Operate equipment and chemicals to purify and clarify water.
• Inspect, clean, repair, and maintain wastewater equipment and tanks.
• Monitor operating conditions and detect malfunctions.
• Collect, preserve, test and record water samples per regulations.
• Respond to alarms and verify backup systems operate.
