APEL Extrusions, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Wastewater Treatment Operator to operate and maintain the facility's wastewater system in compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.

You will monitor water quality, read meters and gauges, collect samples, calculate and log results, and prepare federal and state reports. Training during the day for a few weeks, then Monday-Thursday Noon to 10pm swing shift. A high school diploma is required; college chemistry background preferred.

Formación

• High School Degree or equivalent is required.
• College degree in chemistry or related field preferred.
• 3 years of wastewater treatment or wastewater lab experience.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand English.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and ensure proper operation of waste equipment.
• Monitor and analyze water quality.
• Read meters, gauges, and instruments to monitor, meter, and regulate waste and chemical equipment.
• Collect samples and perform on-site analysis.
• Calculate and log results from laboratory data and maintain test records for reports.
• Manage chemical treatment processes and maintain chemical inventories.
• Maintain records for wastewater systems and report failures or inefficiencies.

Job Summary

The Wastewater Treatment Operator operates and maintains the wastewater treatment system in compliance with environmental regulations and safety standards.
