Job summary

Patriot Environmental Services—a premier environmental services provider in the Western United States—seeks a Wastewater Technician to operate, inspect, and maintain wastewater treatment equipment. You will gather and analyze water samples and ensure compliance with environmental regulations, all while prioritizing safety and quality.

The role involves long hours, day or night shifts, and potential overtime; prior experience in wastewater treatment and hazardous materials handling is preferred,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HAZWOPER certification and Confined Space Entry preferred.
• CWEA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority and follow safe work practices.
• Operate equipment and chemicals to treat and purify wastewater.
• Inspect, clean, maintain wastewater equipment, tanks and beds.
• Monitor gauges to determine load requirements and malfunctions.
• Coordinate large repairs with management personnel.
• Collect and analyze water samples per regulatory standards.
• Test, troubleshoot and respond to alarms and ensure backup systems work.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and coworkers.
• Attend safety trainings and work overtime as needed.
• Additional duties may be assigned as required.
