Job summary

MilliporeSigma seeks a Wastewater Technician to support the Jaffrey, NH wastewater treatment plant, ensuring permit compliance and assisting with manufacturing processes. You will work Sunday to Wednesday, 6:00 AM–4:30 PM, performing sampling, maintenance, and documentation.

The role involves collaboration with facilities and manufacturing teams, handling data logs, and participating in on-call rotations to meet EH&S requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies or related fields.
• 1+ year of experience in wastewater operations.
• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years' experience in wastewater operations or environmental position.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform sampling and analysis of wastewater to evaluate system health and regulatory compliance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on pumps, valves, blowers, and pH probes.
• Prepare samples for third-party laboratory evaluation and maintain records.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to manage wastewater flows and coordinate shipments to third-party facilities.
