Job summary

Sigma Earth is seeking an entry-level Waste Technician to support waste pickups at customer facilities. You will handle materials safely, assist with bulking and consolidation, and help ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Perform waste pickups throughout customer facilities and ensure materials are handled safely and properly.
• Conduct chemical bulking and consolidation activities in line with safety and compliance requirements.
• Package and label waste materials correctly to improve operational efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance.
• Support spill response activities at customer sites when required.
• Operate forklifts as part of daily waste handling and movement tasks.
• Inspect drums to confirm container integrity and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Ensure waste hauling vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Complete waste stream sampling and profiling as needed.
