The role requires MA licenses and 5+ years in operations, with supervisory experience, and a strong focus on safety, reporting, and customer interface. Occasional travel to support multiple sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Licensed wastewater professional with MA licenses.
• Minimum 5 years of wastewater treatment operations experience.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Knowledge of regulatory reporting and laboratory operations.
• Experience with sludge handling, dewatering, and disposal programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise wastewater treatment plant personnel.
• Develop staffing plans and work schedules.
• Manage operator training and professional development.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support employee growth.
• Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with training requirements.
• Support company policies, procedures, and ISO standards.
• Interface directly with customers and attend site meetings.
• Review operational performance and business account issues with leadership.
• Generate reports for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with sales initiatives and special projects.
• Coordinate chemical suppliers and subcontracted maintenance providers.
• Monitor discharge permits and environmental records; maintain reporting requirements.
• Perform system audits and inventory reviews; support sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations.
• Troubleshoot treatment system and equipment issues; maintain preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate facility upgrades and capital projects; manage maintenance programs.
